Welcome to the neighborhood

Old Lake Highlands here in Dallas can’t quite be described as “funky”—it maintains an underlying conservative respectability, thanks to its mature urbanite resident base. But that doesn’t mean we can’t be eclectic in our landscaping choices.

Reference this joyfully abundant display of purple coneflower and blind prickly pear in a neighbor’s front yard garden. The sunset lighting made the scene all the more dramatic.

  1. A funky, eclectic floral arrangement only you John could photograph so beautifully. I can see that framed and in a country French home. Love it!
